The False Fulfillment Narrative Across pulpits, political stages, and YouTube channels, one narrative persists: that the 1948 creation of the modern State of Israel is the direct fulfillment of biblical prophecy. For many Christian Zionists, this moment was the long-awaited “return” of the Jewish people to their promised land. But for those who study the Scriptures with discernment and historical context, this claim doesn’t hold up. The belief that modern Zionism is of YAHUAH—without repentance, without the Messiah, and without Torah—is a deception that serves political interests, not prophetic truth. It’s time to separate Scripture from the false narratives that have crept into modern doctrine. Jeremiah 23:1–2“Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith YAHUAH. Therefore thus saith YAHUAH Elohim of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock… and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings.” What Is Zionism? A Brief History Zionism is not a spiritual awakening — it is a secular political ideology birthed in Europe in the late 1800s. The founder of political Zionism, Theodor Herzl, envisioned a Jewish state—not because of Torah or prophecy, but as a nationalist solution to antisemitism in Europe. Herzl and his contemporaries were not Torah-observant. In fact, they openly opposed religion in favor of secular nationalism. Herzl wrote:“We shall therefore prevent any religious rebirth… we shall not permit the theocratic tendencies of our priests to gain ground.”— The Jewish State, 1896 The Balfour Declaration of 1917, in which Britain promised to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine, was driven by colonial motives — not divine ones. It had nothing to do with repentance, righteousness, or fulfilling the Law. The UN’s recognition of Israel in 1948 was a political agreement, heavily influenced by World War II, guilt over the Holocaust, and Western imperial goals — not the move of the Ruach Ha’Kodesh (Holy Spirit). Biblical Prophecies of the True Regathering The Scriptures describe the regathering of Israel as a spiritual restoration, not merely a physical migration. Ezekiel 36:24–27“For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries… Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you… A new heart also will I give you… and cause you to walk in My statutes.” This is not what happened in 1948. The return described in Scripture: Comes after repentance (Deuteronomy 30:1–6) Includes Torah obedience Is done by YAHUAH Himself, not political powers Results in people who worship in spirit and truth Jeremiah 23:3–6“I will gather the remnant of my flock… and they shall fear no more. Behold, the days come, saith YAHUAH, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch…” This “Branch” is YAHUSHUA, not the Israeli Knesset or UN charters. The true regathering is led by the Messiah, not military campaigns. Modern Israel: A Secular, Anti-Torah State The modern State of Israel openly rejects Torah: It is one of the leading countries in LGBTQ+ legislation It permits abortion and pornography The Sabbath is routinely violated in public policy The state has no constitution based on Torah It justifies the killing and rape of other peoples It is filled with all types of witchcraft and pagan followers It is a leader in crimes against children It has been credibly accused of committing genocide against the Palestinian people It has been linked to illegal organ harvesting (mainly of Palestinians), human trafficking ( of Yemenite Jews and Palestinians), Extreme forms of Antiblack racism (so much so that the Danite Ethiopian Jews have said they are treated as 2nd class citizens and were purposely targeted by the Israeli state by sterilization when they were immigrating to the country from Ethiopia), have done terrorist attacks against the British (King David Hotel), the United States ( Attacking the USS Liberty), the Lebanese (the pager attacks) as well as many more, And recently have tried to legitimize the rape of Palestinian men and women and even went as far as marching and freeing the perpetrators of these crimes during the recent war against Palestinians. How can this be the fulfillment of the covenant YAH made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? Isaiah 1:21“How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.” Modern Jerusalem fits this prophecy more than it fits Isaiah 2, where all nations go to the House of YAHUAH to learn Torah. Jeremiah 31:33“But this shall be the covenant… I will put my law in their inward parts… and will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people.” A state that rejects the Messiah and refuses Torah cannot be the Israel spoken of in this verse. The Deception of Christian Zionism Christian Zionists cling to a twisted interpretation of: Genesis 12:3“I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee…” But this promise was made to Abraham’s seed through covenant obedience—not to a secular nation or a group of people who reject the Son. Revelation 2:9“I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.” These are not anti-Semitic words — they are Messiah’s own words against those who falsely claim the heritage of Israel while doing the works of the enemy of Him and His people. Christian Zionism supports: War and conquest in the Middle East and Africa Ethnic supremacy based on lineage, not obedience and lineage The funding of institutions that oppose the Gospel It is a deception that blinds believers and shields evil under a banner of “prophecy fulfilled.” The True Israelite Awakening While the world celebrates 1948, prophecy is unfolding elsewhere: Deuteronomy 28:64“And YAHUAH shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other…” The descendants of these scattered people—those who were enslaved, colonized, and stripped of identity—are now: Returning to the commandments Awakening to their true identity Seeking
