*Shalom Family, we decided to try to create longer form written pieces, and we would like to know if our subs will enjoy it, or would they rather have a short form piece given to them. Please let us know in the Substack chat or email us if you like or dislike this style of work. Thank You The Battle Over Truth   We are living in a time when truth is not merely being ignored—it is being actively resisted, twisted, and attacked. In the last days, the battle over truth becomes one of the central spiritual conflicts on the earth. What YAH calls holy, the world calls extreme. What YAH calls righteous, the world calls hateful. What YAH commands, society mocks. What the Scriptures make plain, false teachers and carnal minds attempt to redefine. This is not accidental. It is a sign of the times. The Bible warns that a great falling away would come, and that many would no longer have a love for the truth. The issue in the last days is not that truth will disappear from the earth entirely. The issue is that many people will reject truth because truth demands repentance, obedience, humility, and change. (See our book, Baptism Unto Remembrance: Sin-Atonement-Repentance) 2 Timothy 4:3-4 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” These verses are extremely important because they reveal that the end-time rejection of truth is not always caused by ignorance. Many people hear the truth and deliberately turn away from it because they would rather hear teachings that comfort the flesh. They seek teachers who will tell them what they want to hear, not what they need to hear. They prefer motivation over correction, feelings over commandments, and religious entertainment over true holiness. This is why standing firm in truth is so difficult in the last days. It is not merely a matter of having the right information. It is a matter of being willing to hold onto YAH’s truth while the world around you abandons it. Isaiah 59:14-15 “And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey…” This prophecy sounds like our generation. Truth is fallen in the street. Truth is trampled, ridiculed, and treated like an enemy. And the person who departs from evil becomes a prey. In other words, the one who chooses righteousness becomes a target. The one who refuses compromise becomes hated. The one who speaks according to Scripture becomes attacked. That is the climate we are living in now. Truth is under attack in the religious world, in the media, in education, in politics, in culture, and even in families. But the deeper issue is spiritual. Satan has always opposed the truth because truth exposes darkness. John 8:44 “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do… he was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him…” Messiah shows us here that the adversary has no truth in him. That means every attack on truth reflects the nature of the enemy. Lies, distortions, counterfeit doctrines, manipulations, and false narratives are all weapons of the kingdom of darkness. So when truth is under attack, we must understand that we are witnessing more than a social trend—we are witnessing spiritual warfare. 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause YAHUAH shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” This passage is sobering. It shows us that truth is not just something to hear intellectually. It must be loved. Those who do not love the truth become vulnerable to delusion. That means one of the greatest dangers in the last days is not simply being uninformed—it is having a heart that prefers unrighteousness and therefore becomes open to deception. This is why believers must be deeply anchored. The attack on truth is not light, and it is not temporary. It will intensify as we move closer to the end. (See our book, The Path: Of Righteousness) The Foundation of Standing Firm   If truth is under attack, then the believer must ask: what keeps a person from being moved? What gives stability in an unstable generation? What allows a servant of YAH to remain unshaken while society, religion, and culture are all drifting into confusion? The answer is simple but powerful: the Word of YAH must become your foundation. A person cannot stand firm on emotions. Feelings change. A person cannot stand firm on public opinion. Society changes. A person cannot stand firm on traditions handed down by men. Traditions can be corrupt. The only sure foundation is the Word of YAH. Psalm 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” This verse teaches that the Word does not merely inspire us—it directs us. It gives light in dark places. It shows us where to walk when the world is full of confusion. Without the light of Scripture, people stumble in darkness and mistake error for truth. In the last days, this becomes even more important because there are many voices competing for attention. There are false teachers quoting selected verses out of context. There are influencers who sound bold but are not grounded in correct doctrine. There are churches that speak of love while rejecting obedience. There are systems of religion that say that they use the name of “God” while teaching rebellion against
