A Spiritual Shift in Our Generation
Across the world, a powerful spiritual awakening is taking place. Men and women who once sat in pews every Sunday, celebrated traditional Christian holidays, and accepted doctrines without question are now asking: “Is this what the Bible really teaches?”
From America to Africa, the Caribbean to Europe, more and more believers are walking away from mainstream Christianity and returning to the ancient path—a path rooted not in church traditions, but in Torah, the covenant YAH made with the children of Israel.
This journey, often called “coming into the truth,” isn’t about religion. It’s about identity, obedience, and restoration. It’s about realizing that we are the descendants of the scattered tribes of Israel and that the commandments of YAH are not obsolete — they’re eternal.
What the Church Got Wrong
Many who leave the church aren’t leaving because they want nothing to do with YAH — they’re leaving because they realize the church has departed from His Word.
1. Sunday Worship vs. the Sabbath
YAH’s Word is clear:
“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy… the seventh day is the sabbath of YAHUAH thy ELOHIM.”
— Exodus 20:8–10
The Sabbath based on the Gregorian Calender is Saturday, not Sunday and for others it lands on different days based on the moon cycles. Yet the church replaced YAH’s command with a tradition based on Roman decree — not Scripture.
2. Pagan Holidays Disguised as Holy Days
Christmas (based on Saturnalia)
Easter (named after Ishtar, a fertility goddess)
Lent, Halloween, and Sunday Sunrise services — none are found in the Bible
These holidays replace YAH’s feast days and create confusion among the people.
3. “Grace Over Law” Doctrine
The modern church teaches that the law (Torah) is done away with, replaced by grace. But Yahushua said the opposite:
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law… Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law…”
— Matthew 5:17–18
Grace is not permission to sin — it’s the power to repent and return to the law.
(See our book, The Symbiotic Relationship: Grace & Law)
4. Replacing Israel With “The Church”
Instead of recognizing who the children of Israel truly are — the people who were scattered through slavery and colonization — many churches promote a doctrine of “replacement theology,” claiming the church is now “spiritual Israel.”
But Scripture never says Israel would be replaced. It says they would be scattered, then restored.

The Awakening of the Lost Sheep
Yahushua was clear about who He came for:
“I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
— Matthew 15:24
That means those descendants of Israel who were lost — culturally, spiritually, and physically. Many of those waking up today are:
African Americans
Afro-Caribbeans
Afro-Latinos
Afro-Brazilians
Indigenous Afro-peoples
And others of Negroed decent that descended from the 12 tribes through slavery and dispersion
This awakening is prophesied:
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
— John 8:32
“Thy dead men shall live… awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust…”
— Isaiah 26:19
“Then he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live?… So I prophesied as he commanded me…”
— Ezekiel 37:3–10
These dry bones are coming to life again — not with religion, but with covenant truth.

Discovering Identity and Inheritance
Once someone realizes they are a Hebrew Israelite, the Bible opens up like never before. The curses in Deuteronomy 28 start to make sense. The promise of restoration becomes personal. And the Torah is no longer a “Jewish book” — it’s your inheritance.
“He showeth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. He hath not dealt so with any nation…”
— Psalm 147:19–20
We are not Gentiles. We are not just believers in a religion. We are Israel — and the Torah and Tanakh is our culture, law, and covenant.
(See our book, The Chosen Seed: Predestination)
Yahushua and the Restoration of All Things
Yahushua did not come to create a new religion. He came to restore what was lost:
“Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things…”
— Acts 3:21
He came to:
Gather the lost tribes
Restore the covenant
Call His people back to righteousness
Yahushua kept the Torah, honored the Sabbath, kept the feast days, and taught repentance. He is the Living Torah, and those who follow Him must walk as He walked (1 John 2:6).

Why Torah Living Brings Clarity
Once you return to Torah, the fog lifts.
You begin to understand:
The purpose of the feasts (they point to prophecy and Yahushua)
The beauty of the Sabbath (a weekly appointment with the Father)
The power of dietary laws (for health, discipline, and holiness)
The truth about your identity (you’re part of the covenant people)
This clarity brings order to your life, focus to your faith, and a deeper love for YAHUAH.
(See our book, Peace Be Still John 14:27: Peace For Everyday Living, His Shalom)
From Religion to Relationship
Leaving the church doesn’t mean leaving faith — it means leaving falsehood. Returning to Torah is about entering a relationship rooted in obedience and identity.
You don’t need a pulpit, choir, or building. You need the commandments of YAH, the faith of Yahushua, and the determination to walk in truth even when it’s unpopular.
“Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein…”
— Jeremiah 6:16
From church to covenant — that’s the path of restoration.
