The Reality of Spiritual Warfare
Many believers focus only on the physical world, but the Bible teaches that there is another battlefield that most people cannot see. This battlefield is the spiritual realm, where forces of righteousness and wickedness are constantly at work, influencing the events of the earth.
The Scriptures make it clear that believers are not simply facing human opposition. The struggles of the last days involve spiritual forces that operate behind the scenes.
The Apostle Saul (Paul) explained this clearly when he wrote:
Ephesians 6:12
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
This verse reveals an important truth: the conflicts believers experience are not only about people or institutions. Behind many earthly struggles are spiritual powers attempting to influence the world and suppress the truth of YAHUAH.
As the world moves closer to the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, this unseen conflict intensifies.
Why Spiritual Warfare Intensifies in the Last Days
Scripture teaches that as humanity moves closer to the final fulfillment of prophecy, the forces of darkness grow more aggressive in their attempts to deceive and control the world.
This is because Satan understands that his time is limited.
Revelation 12:12
“Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
According to prophecy, the adversary increases deception, conflict, and chaos as his time grows shorter.
This explains why many believers today feel an increasing sense of spiritual pressure, confusion in the world, and rising hostility toward biblical truth.
What we are witnessing is not random. It is part of the spiritual struggle unfolding as the end of this age approaches.
The Primary Weapon of the Enemy: Deception
While many people imagine spiritual warfare as dramatic supernatural encounters, the Bible reveals that the enemy’s most powerful weapon is deception.
Satan works primarily by distorting truth.
2 Corinthians 11:14
“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”
This means deception often appears attractive, convincing, and even religious.
We see it every day in our lives, from war propaganda to corporations lying to us about their products. False teachings, corrupted doctrines, and traditions that contradict Scripture are all part of this strategy. The world right now is run by satan as he is the father of lies, and every day, each one of us is inundated with lies about everything.
This is why the Bible repeatedly warns believers to test everything by the Word of YAH. And Study to show thyself approved.
The Armor of YAH: Protection for the Believer
The Scriptures do not leave believers defenseless. Instead, the Bible describes spiritual protection as the armor of YAH.
Saul (Paul) explains this spiritual armor in detail:
Ephesians 6:13-17
“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of YAHUAH, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of YAHUAH.”
Each piece of this armor represents a spiritual quality that strengthens believers. And as we have emphasized, it directly links back to keeping the Torah. “Truth, Righteousness, Gospel of Peace, Faith, Salvation, and Spirit (Ruach Ha’ Kodesh or Holy Spirit)”
Truth protects the mind.
Righteousness protects the heart.
Faith shields against attacks.
The Word of YAH serves as the believer’s weapon.
Spiritual warfare is not fought with physical strength but with faith, obedience, prayer, and truth. To say this another way, faith in Torah, Obedience to Torah, Prayer based on Torah, and Truth only from Torah.

Prayer: The Communication Line of Spiritual Warfare
Prayer is one of the most powerful tools in spiritual warfare.
Through prayer, believers communicate directly with YAHUAH and receive spiritual strength.
James 5:16
“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
Prayer is not simply a ritual. It is a spiritual connection that allows believers to receive guidance, protection, and wisdom during spiritual battles. It is a basic necessity that cannot be overlooked, as it is the foundation of the Torah in action. From YAHUAH’s promises to His Judgements, it is a guide stone for making the Bible from a written book to a real and explicit expression of miracles in your life.

Victory Belongs to Those Who Endure
The Bible does not promise that believers will avoid spiritual conflict. Instead, it promises victory to those who remain faithful.
Matthew 24:13
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
In the last days, spiritual warfare will increase, deception will multiply, and opposition to truth will intensify.
But those who remain rooted in Scripture, prayer, and obedience will overcome.
