The Plight of the African Hebrew Israelites in Israel: A Prophetic Perspective

In the arid landscapes of Dimona, Israel, a community of African Hebrew Israelites has resided for decades, striving to live in accordance with their understanding of biblical teachings. Originating from the United States in the 1960s, these brothers and sisters sought to reconnect with our ancestral homeland. Today, approximately 130 members of this community in the zionist state of Israel face the threat of deportation, despite many having spent the majority of their lives in that state.

Historical Background

The African Hebrew Israelites trace their roots to a movement led by Ben Ammi Ben-Israel, who claimed a divine vision directing him to lead African Americans back to the Promised Land. After a brief period in Liberia, the group settled in Israel in 1969, establishing the Village of Peace in Dimona. Over time, they developed a distinct lifestyle, embracing veganism, communal living, and a commitment to spiritual practices they believed aligned with ancient Israelite traditions.

Current Challenges

Despite decades of integration, including service in the zionist Israeli military and contributions to local economies, the community’s legal status has remained precarious. While some members have obtained citizenship or permanent residency, others remain undocumented. In recent years, the zionist Israeli authorities have issued deportation orders to several individuals, citing immigration violations. This has left many, including those born and raised in the zionist state of Israel, in a state of uncertainty and fear.

Biblical Perspective

The situation of the African Hebrew Israelites raises profound questions about the nature of the Promised Land and who is called to inhabit it. Scripture emphasizes that the land promised to the descendants of Jacob is not merely a physical territory but a spiritual inheritance contingent upon obedience to YAHUAH’s commandments.

“But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments… then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them.”
— 1 Kings 9:6-7

This passage underscores that possession of the land is conditional, based on adherence to divine statutes. The current challenges faced by the African Hebrew Israelites in the zionist state of Israel reflect a broader spiritual dissonance between their aspirations and the divine requirements for dwelling in the land.

Prophetic Implications

The modern zionist state of Israel, while a geopolitical entity, does not align with the prophetic vision of a restored Kingdom of Israel under divine governance. They do not align with ANY of the prophetic scriptures of the reestablishment of the Kingdom of Israel. The Scriptures even warn of a time when false messiahs and deceptive powers will arise in the land.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed… Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called by YAHUAH.”
— 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

This suggests that the establishment of a secular state does not fulfill the prophetic promises concerning Israel’s restoration. The scriptures also say that the Messiah will create the Kingdom after He comes back and after the great tribulation. The zionist state of Israel is NOT the prophesied Kingdom of Israel. But saying that, it is still very important to highlight the trials faced by the African Hebrew Israelites as they are our brothers and sisters. In addition, it is good to highlight the broader spiritual misalignment present within their group and many other Israelites around the world. This spiritual misalignment can put us as Israelites in extremely difficult situations and cause us to feel spritual, physical, and mental anguish until we correctly realign ourselves to the blood covenenant we are apart of.

In Conclusion,

The African Hebrew Israelites’ journey reflects our deep yearning to reconnect with our heritage and fulfill our spiritual calling. However, their experiences in the modern-day zionist state of Israel highlights the complexities of aligning physical relocation with spiritual restoration. As we navigate these challenges, it becomes imperative to seek a deeper understanding of divine will and the true nature of the Promised Land—not merely as a geographical location, but as a state of covenantal relationship with the Most High. We can only pray that YAHUAH will protect them while they live in the zionist state of Israel. And through the continued destruction of that blasphamous state will help them move forward with proper understanding of the Scriptures (See our book, Knowing the Father and the Son: Those who seek the truth will find it).
